Simon Shepherd has worked in and around prisons for over three decades, including 10 years as a prison psychologist. He’s also the author of “The Good Book of Prisons” based on his recent tour of every jail in England & Wales.

 

At turns funny, harsh, tragic and poignant, and compelling throughout, Simon reads from ‘Pork Scratchings Anyone?’, his account of his time working behind bars; opening the door on the hidden world inside the UK’s jails.
