Samara Neely-Cohen - Writer and Performer

Samara Neely-Cohen has appeared in the Los Angeles Opera, the Los Angeles Shakespeare Festival, New York Stage and Film, the Santa Fe Theatre Festival, Theatre Workshop of Nantucket, the Weathervane Theatre, and Dorset Theatre Festival. TV and Film: The Wedding Belles (Fox), Walk Hard (Sony Pictures), and In the Crossfire (ABC). Samara has an MFA from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

Guy Masterson - Director

Guy studied drama at UCLA and LAMDA. Globally acclaimed as a solo performer, Guy began directing in 1991 with Peter Shaffer's 'The Public Ear & The Private Eye' In 1993 he directed his first one-person play, 'Playing Burton' about his uncle, Richard Burton. Since then he has directed 40 more shows, of which 25 were solos. Over 27 consecutive seasons at the Edinburgh Fringe since 1994, Masterson has presented over 140 shows and directed several of its most celebrated hits: ‘Adolf’ (1999); '12 Angry Men' (2003) - which smashed all box office records, and for which he received Edinburgh's most prestigious prize - The Jack Tinker 'Spirit of the Fringe' Award among several others. In 2004, he originated the West End hit, 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest' starring Mackenzie Crook & Christian Slater. In 2005, he directed Edinburgh's biggest box office hit to date, 'The Odd Couple’, starring Bill Bailey and Alan Davies. In 2008, 'Scaramouche Jones'. In 2009, 'Morecambe'- which transferred to the West End and won WOS & TMA awards, plus a Laurence Olivier Award for Best Entertainment and a nomination for the performer. In 2018, Guy co-wrote and directed 'The Marilyn Conspiracy’, and in 2019 'The Shark Is Broken’ - which finally transferred triumphantly to the West End in 2021/22 and was nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Comedy or Entertainment.

 

Tom Keegan - Development

Tom Keegan’s work encompasses decades of experience in theatre, dance, film, voice, and video games. He has created and appeared in many original theatre, dance, and performance pieces as part of the duo 'Keegan & Lloyd' and with many companies in New York and Los Angeles. Currently, Tom is one of the world’s top performance directors for video games. His work includes AAA franchises, including Battlefield, Star Wars, Wolfenstein, Call of Duty, Resident Evil, Need for Speed, Mirror’s Edge, VR titles Archangel and The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners. He received a BAFTA nomination for his work on “Wolfenstein: The New Colossus” and his products have won multiple BAFTAs, Game Awards, and the Golden Joystick. In film, his short, 'Sweet Life' is part of the Frameline: New Voices collection, has won awards at festivals and has been shown on television internationally.  His activist feature documentary, 'Out in India: A Family’s Journey', about the intersection of HIV/AIDS and the arts, as seen through the eyes of a gay family, won the jury prize at the Torino LGBT Film Festival, among other awards.

 

Encompass Productions - Producer
