Angel Theatre Company Presents
Conceptualised and directed by John Patterson
Stray explores the plight of London’s homeless community. This verbatim theatre project offers a unique insight into a world that surrounds us; one we constantly encounter but may rarely engage with. Every word spoken on stage has been taken directly from interviews with homeless people and the general public around them. A bold, provocative and visceral theatrical experience guaranteed to leave a lasting impression.
All profits generated from this production will be donated to Crisis, the national charity for homeless people, to help fund their Christmas campaign. Every pair of tickets we sell will give a homeless person Christmas dinner, a shelter for the night, access to medical help and the chance to have a shower… all the things we'll take for granted this festive season.
Performances start 7:30pm
Directly following the performances on 4th, 5th and 6th, director John Patterson will host a post show Q & A. This is free of charge and open to all who have booked a ticket for these nights. John will discuss his approach to creating the piece and offer insight into the process of developing a piece of verbatim theatre.
