Lindona Productions Presents
The Queer at the Top of the Stairs
by Stewart Permutt

Phil and Lance are two ex-cons that have set up a stall in the local market selling fudge. One night a rival sets fire to their stall and the fudge goes up in flames. The boys seek revenge but also need some ready cash. They seek the help of their friendly neighbour from upstairs which leads to unexpected results.

Stewart Permutt's last play 'A Dark Night In Dalston' starring Michelle Collins had a sell out run at The Park Theatre. Other plays include 'Real Babies Don`t Cry' (Edinburgh Fringe First) 'Unsuspecting Susan' starring Celia Imrie (Kings Head, Off-Broadway, Philadelephia, St. Louis and Germany.) 'Singular Women' starring Lesley Joseph (Edinburgh, Chichester, National Tour, Radio 4 and Australia)
