Gianna Kiehl presents in ASSOCIATION with Pathway Theatre

Back by popular demand! David Persiva's critically acclaimed tragicomedy returns to the White Bear for a limited run.

Us is a break-up play.

A tragicomedy exploring the last half an hour and the first half an hour of a relationship; the last argument and the first date. We flit back and forth between these two nights, years apart, interrogating love;  where it starts, where it ends & why it didn’t last.

'Processing the various stages of love is perhaps one of the most important things that will happen within our lives. Us is a crucial watch.'

Lucy Basaba London Pub Theatres

'Utterly believable, the play cuts to the heart of what it is to have loved and lost with excellent acting and a tight script. This is moving and beautiful theatre.'

Everything Theatre

'Us is not to be missed, [...] The acting was beautifully done, enrapturing us in the drama.'

London Theatre Reviews'

Persiva and Morgan are a joy to watch.'

Karl O'Doherty The Reviews Hub

'With two fine performances and brisk direction from David Frias-Robles, this is a refreshing return to fringe theatre as it should be. Intimate, absorbing and up close. Away from the spotlight on how the next big new musical is coping post-pandemic, the White Bear – and other such theatres – have struggled too. And thankfully survived. Plays like “Us” will ensure that survival continues.’

Spy In The Stalls

‘Persiva has a real gift for the natural flow of the dialogue here, whether soul-bearing or slanging matches, and his onstage chemistry with Naoimh Morgan (a truly compelling physical presence) can’t help but draw you in.’
